Genetic variation of the endangered species Halenia coreana (Gentianaceae)

چکیده
Halenia coreana is an endangered, endemic species that distributed in only a few locations Korea, such as Mts. Hwaaksan and Daeamsan. It has been recently segregated from H. corniculata, broadly cold temperate regions include northern Japan, the Russian Far East, northeastern China, Mongolia, eastern Europe, where population sizes are usually large. To examine genetic diversity of evaluate level differentiation compared with we surveyed 183 candidate simple sequence repeats (SSR) motif markers for corniculata data amplified fragments specific length genome. A total 17 genomic-SSR were selected to levels using samples 60 three populations corniculata. The results here suggest very low high frequency inbreeding within its population. We found genetically differentiated supporting recognition geographically isolated distinct species.

Genetic Variation of the Endangered Gentiana lutea L. var. aurantiaca (Gentianaceae) in Populations from the Northwest Iberian Peninsula
Gentiana lutea L. (G. lutea L.) is an endangered plant, patchily distributed along the mountains of Central and Southern Europe. In this study, inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers were used to investigate the genetic variation in this species within and among populations of G. lutea L. var. aurantiaca of the Cantabrian Mountains (Northwest Iberian Peninsula). Samples of G. lutea L. coll...
متن کاملMorphological and genetic variation in seven species of the endangered Chirostoma "humboldtianum species group" (Atheriniformes: Atherinopsidae).
The Chirostoma "humboldtianum" group includes seven silverside species considered as a monophyletic assemblage because of their high genetic and morphological similarities. The group includes five moderately large species, "peces blancos" (117-300 mm standard length--SL) and two smaller species, "charales" (70-142 mm SL). These species are of great economical, cultural and ichthyological intere...
متن کاملFlorivory Modulates the Seed Number-Seed Weight Relationship in Halenia elliptica (Gentianaceae)
Generally, plant reproductive success might be affected negatively by florivory, and the effects may vary depending on the timing and intensity of florivory. To clarify the impacts of florivory by the sawfly larvae (Tenthredinidae) on seed production of Halenia elliptica D. Don, we simulated florivory by removing different proportion of flowers at three reproductive stages in this alpine herb a...
متن کاملA preliminary study of genetic variation in the endangered, Chinese endemic species Dysosma versipellis (Berberidaceae)
This study represents a preliminary analysis of allozyme variation in Dysosma versipellis (Berberidaceae), an endangered plant species endemic to China. Five populations of D. versipellis and one population of D. pleiantha were sampled and analyzed using starch gel electrophoresis of nine enzymes that corresponded to nine interpretable loci. Levels of genetic polymorphism within populations (me...
متن کاملGeographic variation and genetic structure in the Bahama Oriole (Icterus northropi), a critically endangered synanthropic species.
Bird species may exhibit unexpected population structuring over small distances, with gene flow restricted by geographic features such as water or mountains. The Bahama Oriole (Icterus northropi) is a critically endangered, synanthropic island endemic with a declining population of fewer than 300 individuals. It now remains only on Andros Island (The Bahamas), which is riddled with waterways th...
